hello everybody,
well I've been a member of this great community for quite some time now albeit I haven't been a very active member. Today I find it very compelling for me to add my voice to the voices of millions of Nigerian students who have been forced to stay at home idle instead of being in school acquiring the very basic set of skill required to lead a decent life in this generation due to some greedy and unpatriotic people parading themselves as members of ASUU(Academic Staff Union of Universities). This set of people are so greedy and self centered that they fail to realise the damage that they are causing to our youths.I would like to use this medium to call on all fellow countrymen at home or in diaspora as well as the people of the world to please shout out this message to ASUU: Please go back to work.
I would like to close by recalling the golden rule, which says: Do unto others what you want to be done unto you. Ask any student that has been studied at any Nigerian university about the treatment met on them by lectures and you will be surprised by what you will learn. This people are so insensitive that they can waste upto 2-3 years of your life just for a personal vendetta that you may even be ignorant to and yet they want the government to treat them better. I say this very boldly and proudly, you dont deserve what you are looking for.
